YOUR PROPERTY / A DEFINED SCOPE

Bring the landscape
into focus.

Landscape borders are some of the clearest lines on a property. A continuous concrete edge can connect planting beds, lawn and decorative material into one deliberate composition. JPPM coordinates decorative concrete curbing as part of a wider Edmonton landscape project or as an improvement to an existing yard, with preparation and access reviewed before the work is accepted.

The goal is a border that belongs to the property. A simple entrance bed, a long fence-line garden and a complete front-yard renovation each call for a different layout. Tell us where you want definition and what is already in place. We consider the surrounding sod, planting, mulch or rock alongside the proposed line, rather than treating the curbing as an isolated strip.

WHERE IT WORKS

Define the edges.
Connect the materials.

Curbing can separate a planted bed from turf, contain a decorative-rock or mulch perimeter, or frame a landscape feature where the layout permits. It contributes a visible finishing detail while keeping the relationship between materials understandable. Straight and curved sections should follow the intended garden shape and the way the yard is maintained.

Concrete is one edging choice among several. Flexible edging and block or stone borders can also suit a property. Decorative curbing is particularly useful when the edge itself should be part of the landscape’s appearance. It can strengthen curb appeal, but we do not promise a specific resale-value increase or suggest that a border eliminates mowing, trimming or garden maintenance.

PREPARATION & COORDINATION

Plan the border
with the whole project.

The quote considers layout, linear length, access, existing turf removal, ground preparation and disposal where needed. If the project also involves grading, sod, planting or decorative rock, the work sequence should make those pieces fit together. Existing yards can be assessed for a curbing upgrade without assuming all landscaping needs replacing.

JPPM coordinates specialist installation with the surrounding landscape work. The accepted proposal identifies the responsible parties, selected finish and installer-specific care and warranty information. Final profiles, stamps and colours are confirmed during quotation. Another installer’s published price list is not JPPM project pricing; we quote the complete customer-facing scope.

CHOOSING THE FINISH

Profile, texture
and colour together.

Use the supplied options below as a starting point. Standard stamped textures and the Premium Natural Stone finish offer different surface character, while grey, brown, terra cotta and red families can relate to the house and other landscape materials. The compatible profile and current availability are confirmed before a finish is approved.

The examples are supplier references, not photographs of completed JPPM installations. Digital swatches cannot guarantee the final concrete appearance. Materials, curing, light and the screen can affect colour, so current physical samples and the specialist’s guidance are part of the selection. Fresh curbing also needs protection during curing, with care instructions supplied for the accepted work.
